Thanks to special new suits from Australia, surfers don’t have to be afraid of sharks anymore.
Scientists and designers worked together and created these useful wetsuits. There are two types of them. The first type makes the person hard to see and the second one sends a message to the shark. It tells the shark that the man is no snack. The suits were tested with dummy torsos and the first results were pretty good.
If you’re wondering how is this possible, the answer is quite simple. Sharks are colourblind and they can only see in shades of grey.
Difficult words: wetsuit (suit when you are in water), dummy (fake human), torso (centre of human body), wonder (think).
